"Sailing to the Other Shore" music video is released on YouTube

         Sailing to the Other Shore (彼岸之船) served as the official promotional music video for White Sail Pro Bono Filmmakers and was released in January 2019. This was a remarkable work of me and my team, as we seamlessly combined film production, aerial photography, and music production into a single project. In that same year, White Sail Team attracts hundreds of university students to join the team and our legal aid program. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, we were forced to halt operations. However, we remain hopeful that new and talented students will continue our work and help improve the lives of children in rural areas.

         White Sail Pro Bono Filmmakers was the first fully integrated pro bono service organization among university students in Shanghai. The organization has developed various pro bono projects in the areas of film, music, legal aid, online education, and volunteer teaching. Comprised of an operations team, filming team, and three volunteer teacher teams, White Sail also boasts hundreds of student volunteers. The organization's most outstanding work is its film production. Since its establishment, White Sail has produced four films focusing on poverty, education, and anti-pedophilia. Their films have garnered international recognition, having been officially selected for the Macau International Movie Festival in 2017 and 2018, the Near Nazareth Film Festival, the Oregon Cinema Arts Film Festival, and the Georgia Shorts Film Festival in 2019.
